MyInfo 8.5.3 released

We're excited to share that MyInfo 8.5.3 is here. This is a focused update with one new feature and several important fixes to improve everyday use of MyInfo. Let's take a look!

More Code Snippet Languages

Code snippets just got more versatile. We've added support for 8 new snippet languages, bringing the total to 50 supported languages:

  • Apache config
  • AmiBroker AFL
  • AutoHotkey
  • Batch files
  • CMake
  • GraphQL
  • Nginx config
  • .ignore files

This makes MyInfo even more convenient for developers and power users working with a wider variety of formats.

Stability & Reliability Fixes

This release also addresses several issues that could affect daily workflows:

  • The Insert Code Snippet command now remembers the last used language.
  • Some special characters that were not supported in notebook passwords now work correctly.
  • File associations and the myinfoapp:// protocol are now always properly registered during installation.
  • has:clones and has:reminder search operators now work properly.
  • Moving a section ending with a number via the Move dialog no longer increments the section title.
  • Regression fix: notes created from text files are now indexed correctly.
